Inspired by my Uncle Wang's exciting stories about wilderness adventures, I developed a desire to experience the thrill of exploring the wild and to appreciate the beauty of nature. We traveled to the protected area of Mount Siguniang in Yunnan. Ruidong Zhang, an animal science professor from Inner Mongolia Normal University, examined different terrains and studied the landscape, attaching infrared cameras to trees. We accompanied him to various sites, learning how to set up cameras, record observations, and detect subtle wildlife signs. His insights helped me realize that the environment is full of endless possibilities.

To explore my interests in environments, I visited the Environmental Research Institute for Environmental Innovation in Suzhou, Tsinghua. This experience profoundly reshaped my view of environmental science. I was surprised by the breadth of specialized fields within environmental studies, each one highly detailed and complex. It motivated me to further explore this field and identify what I genuinely want to pursue in the future.

The story started in winter 2016 when my mother and I found a litter of kittens on our outside windowsill. Fearing they might fall, we gently moved them to a cardboard box. Their helplessness touched my heart, inspiring me to protect them. As I grew, I learned about caring for stray cats and collaborated with a local veterinary clinic to spay and neuter the cats, managing the data in the background. Currently, more than 60 cats have been sterilized.

At Pangfufu, I've encountered many people from various professions. Although they are not veterinarians or related specialists, they still rescue and bring in stray cats and dogs during their free time. Pangfufu offers a platform that raises awareness about stray animals. Additionally, adopters sign agreements to commit to not abandoning their pets. The events organized by Pangfufu has made me realize the importance of organization and collaboration.
