Timeline
January 2016
At 8 years old, I met a life-changing sport, Squash. It gave me a different feeling and atmosphere: many teammates and coaches took care of me during training and matches because I was the youngest.

September 2016
Even though I placed last twice and second-to-last once at the beginning of my squash journey, these experiences motivated me to train harder and keep improving. Finally, I won my first national trophy.
March 2017
Before I knew it, I'd been playing squash for a year—filled with laughter and regrets. However, through consistent training, I've gradually uncovered the tip of the iceberg in mastering its intricacies, while maintaining strong competitive performance.

July 2017
Since 2017, I began to attend several international squash junior opens with my teammates in Japan. I encountered more skilled, fully dedicated players. Also, I became friends with several of them.
May 2018
In 2018, I attended my first international squash tournament, experiencing what a PSA (Professional Squash Association) Squash Open truly entailed, and I realized that mainland Chinese squash had also entered the global stage.

August 2018
During the summer vacation of 2018, I traveled to Dalian to participate in the Asian Squash Open and also watched the concurrently held Women's Squash Team Championship. But what excited me most was reconnecting with the young Japanese player Kariyazono I had met at the Junior Open a year earlier.
March 2019
In 2019, I participated in the Chinese Youth Squash Selection Tournament and was selected for the national youth team to compete at the Irish International Junior Squash Open in November, thanks to my extensive experience.

June 2019
At the 26th Asian Junior Squash Championships in Macau, I met top players my age from different countries. The competition helped me identify my weaknesses, motivating me to learn better and improve.
November 2019
Before we went to Ireland, we spent a week of intense training to acclimate to the local climate and playing surfaces before flying there. I was especially excited because this was my first time competing against players from Europe. (The photo was of my teammates and me)

November 2019
After one week in Ireland, the Irish Junior Squash Open began. Lacking many international ranking points, I faced the fourth seed in the second round and lost 1-2. I then won the consolation bracket and received an award with the top main draw players. This made me realize the gap between us and increased my motivation.
May 2021
But this momentum faded as the pandemic halted training, and nearly two years at home worsened my condition. The Shanghai squash tournament made me acutely aware of my fitness gaps.

March 2023
It's regrettable that Shanghai faced a second pandemic wave. I stayed home for a year, unable to train, which led to weight gain and deteriorating fitness. When I resumed squash, I could only play five minutes before resting. My poor fitness impacted the national championships, where I only placed third in the Bu17 group.
July 2023
After training and improving my fitness, my physique shifted from square to rectangular. When Club Locker launched in China, I joined to earn points and showcase my squash skills.

June 2024
Before attending Mostafa Asal's squash camp, who is currently the world's top-ranked squash player, I had competed in many regional tournaments and won championships. I still aimed to become a national champion to prove my dedication and skill. Under Asal's guidance, I learned about the Egyptian style, techniques, and physical training.
July 2024
To earn more ranking points, I traveled to the US for a squash camp hosted by ASSA, where I met high school players like Justin, who trained with me and told jokes. The training styles and court walls at American camps differed from China’s, but this environment motivated me to reach my potential. It also made me realize squash could help me explore the world. I played several Club Locker games to improve my ratings.

August 2024
Finally, at the National Junior Squash Championships in August 2024, I won the championship I had longed for. Yet winning the title alone no longer satisfies me—I aspire to raise squash's profile in China and other developing regions.
Now
Over the past year, I maintained my competitive shape, served as a junior coach, and met squash idols. With friends, we created the Junior Squash Charity Platform to support underdeveloped regions in Africa and shape sports' future.
